Details

• Logistics: Fill out and follow the instructions in the registration form. Space is limited so act quick.
• Date: Saturday, June 20, 2026.
• Entry Fee: Free ($0)
• Scheduled Time: Runs from 1:30 PM - 6:30 PM ET (rounds at 1:30, 3, 4:30) All players play all 3 rounds regardless of score.
• Location: Okemos Public Library - 4321 Okemos Rd, Okemos, MI 48864
• Prizes: Any unrated (new player) who wins all 3 of their games wins free entry into our July 11th event.
• Format: 3 round swiss, all players play 3 rounds, no elimination. Tournament director will section players off by rating to ensure competitive play.
• Rating mode: USCF regular and quick rated
• Time control: Every player has 45 minutes to make all their moves (G/45; d0).
• Please bring (if possible): chess clock, pen, and chess set
